A Tuffet for…

Miss Muffet, of course.  Here are the next 2 stages in the process.  On Friday we will meet again for the upholstery portion of the project…. and I’m told we will come home with a completed tuffet.  Sure hope I can get all of that done in 4 hours!

I have completed the first 4 of 8 sections.
Now all 8 of the 8 sections are completed.  This is called foundation piecing because each colorful strip of fabric is stitched down one long side to another larger piece of cloth  – in this case, muslin.  Then another colorful strip is seamed to one long side so no raw edges are shown.  Next, when I get ready to seam the open sides of the pinwheel, there will be an additional surprise.  Watch for it!
